He was predeceased by: his spouse Nerea (Verginella); his parents, Loreto and Emilia (Bergantini); and his siblings, Angelo, Concezio, Filiberto, Remo and Olimpia.
He is survived by: his children, Lorenzo and Julie Cassiani; his children-in-law, Sonja (Chiari) and Chris Watson; his grandchildren, Dylan, Dion and Courtney; and his siblings, Silvestro and Iole. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Church (20 Idlewood Ave, Hamilton, ON L8T1V9). A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).
