He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nicholson and Dorothy Nicholson; his brothers, Bill (Bernice), Harry (Linda) and John (Lynn); and his wife Jackie Swaby.
He is survived by: his sister Betsy (Clarke); his cousins, Wayne of Waterdown and Lee of Virginia, USA.; his son Robbie; his stepchildren, Kathryn (Eric), Michelle (Matthew) and Bruce (Felicia); his grandchildren, Jon, Sara, Noah, Ethan, Travis and Josh; his great grandchildren, Cameron, Eamon, Landon, Auston and Summer; and his close friend Roger. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home (146 Mill St N, Waterdown, ON L0R2H0). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
