He was predeceased by: his spouse Felicetta; his father Giuseppe "Peppino" DeLuca; his in-laws, Antonio Giannmore and Teresina DiRienzo; and his siblings, Regina DiCola (late Antonio), Domenic DeLuca (late Angela) and Vanda Sciullo (late Raffaele).
He is survived by: his children, Assunta, Giuseppe (Olga), Antonio and Mario DeLuca; and his grandchildren, Amanda DeLuca, Mandeep Marway, Anthony DeLuca and Tracey DeLuca (Jacob Bussey). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Home (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Church (165 Prospect St N, Hamilton, ON L8L6X8). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery (681 Mud St E, Stoney Creek, ON L8J3B8).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
