He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Elsie; his brother Jim (Pat); and his father-in-law Nicholas Zelinsky. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Sean (Linda), Paula (Jason), David (Lucy) and Lindsay (Doug); his grandchildren, Noah, Chelsea, Jada, David Jr., Jessica, Nicholas and Austin; his brothers, David (Mary) and Bob (Carol); his mother-in-law Janet Zelinsky; and his siblings-in-law, Chris Zelinsky (Sandy) and Dana Douglas.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Autism Ontario or St. Luke's Roman Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
