He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael McNamara and Mary Ann McNamara; his parents-in-law, William and Joan Smith; and his siblings, Brian McNamara and Teresa Pataracchia.

He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his son Benjamin; his stepson Nathan Francoeur (Bret); his siblings, Michael (Christina), Ann Marie (Alan Humphrey), Maureen Hubert (Glen) and Colleen Sayer (Chris); his brothers-in-law, John Pataracchia (Diana) and Rob Smith (Sandra); his nieces and nephews, Rachel, Angela (Fidel), Michael (Megan), John, Danny, Christopher (Ali), Alex, Caleb, Stephanie, Aaron, Jason (Cortney) and Alisha (Jeff); and his great-nephews, Sebastian, Thompson and Bowen.
