He was predeceased by: his parents, Willy Marht and Trudy Marht (Stutz); his stepfather Jack Hazelwood; and his brother Uwe. He is survived by: his wife Carol Mahrt (Martin); his children, Sarah (Matthew Leyland) of Hamilton and Brandon (Courtney Brown) of Beamsville; and his granddaughters, Lily, Vera and Carolyn.
