It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martin Galvin (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on May 8, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his husband Norine; and his siblings, Cameron, Mary, Gerard, Clare and William.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ellen (Robert Plaenk), Roger, Daniel (Samantha Moser) and Katy (Dominic Dostie); his grandchildren, Anthony, Sebastian, Robert, Gabriel, Annie, Martin, Samuel and Benjamin; his brother Daniel (Anne); and his sisters-in-law, Kathryn and Marie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
There will be a brief interment service at Woodland Cemetery on Friday May 11, 2018 at 1 p.m. which will be followed by a celebration of Martin's life for family and friends at The Irish Club of Hamilton, 389 Concession St. Donations to Welcome Inn Community Centre or to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
