Marko left this world on September 11, 2024 at the age of 69, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mate and Marija; and his siblings, Joso (Anita), Ivan, Pave (Ana) and Mate.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Simatovic and Marina Jarrett (Kevin); and his siblings, Mile of Croatia, Pere (Mary), Mande (Grga) and Kate (late Martin). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Croatian Church (1883 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V9).
