“Marion, She was my former classmate at McMaster who joined me as a volunteer at the Bridge. She was one of the first people, in our class, to talk to me and help me feel accepted. We exchanged feedback for our story-telling group prior to going up on stage at the ArtBar. We shared stories of our pasts and began to bond through games and stories. We lost touch after she suddenly stopped volunteering. The program manager at the charity we volunteered at notified me about her passing. I will mourn the loss of Marion, a genuine and caring soul. Her passion for helping others, her extrovert personality and charming presence will be sorely missed. May you rest peacefully Marion; heaven just improved significantly.”
