Maria Plati Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2024, at the age of 83, Maria Plati (Hamilton, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Plati to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonardo; her parents, Domenico Panetta and Immaculata Panetta; her sister Esterina; and her brother-in-law Gerardo.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe Plati (Dina), Domenic Plati (Kim) and Tony Plati (Linda); her grandchildren, Amanda (Dan), Sunni (Marcus), Paul (Stephanie), Anthony (Brittany), Nicole (Nikhil), Jade, Cristian and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Rhyanna, Hunter, Logan, Liam, Graydon, Cora, Michael, Leonardo, Elias, Florence, Nathan and Enzo; her friend Jenny Dorotea (Ettore); and her siblings, Salvatore (Rosaria), Mario, Pina (Gino) and Cosimo (Rita). She is also survived by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and all other family members.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (830 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L7Z5).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
