In loving memory of Maria Giovanna Ciancone (Hamilton, Ontario), who departed this world on January 18, 2025 at the age of 86. Maria Giovanna leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arnaldo; her siblings, Antonio De Michele (late Maria), Felice De Michele, Gennaro De Michele (Concetta) and Rosaria Rosa (late Luca); and her siblings-in-law, Antonio Ciancone (late Antonietta), Vittorio Ciancone (late Delia), Luigi Ciancone (late Maria Pia), Maria and Ninetta.
She is survived by: her children, Lucy (Kevin) and Robert (Teresa); her grandchildren, Natalie, Ryan, Steven and Anthony; and her brother-in-law Lino Ciancone (Giuseppina). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frisolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A prayer will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Church (20 Idlewood Ave, Hamilton, ON L8T1V9). An entombment will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1S9).
