It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria Conceição Carvalho (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Manual Augustino; her children, Manny (Treena), Mario (Carminha) and Odete (Gil); her grandchildren, Andrew (Susy), Danial (Sarah), Stephanie (Matt) and Katharine (Álvaro); and her great grandchildren, Anita, Olivia, André, Aria, Audrey, Emma and Malia. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (23 Sheaffe St, Hamilton, ON L8R2N7).
In lieu of flowers, a donation to The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
