She was predeceased by: her husband Brian Matchett; her parents, Faye Hachey and Arthur Hachey; her brother Roy; and her siblings-in-law, John Guitard and Marjorie Wright (late Bob).
She is survived by: her child Taralynn (Ivan); her granddaughters, Dalilah and Delaney; her siblings, Shirley Hovey (late Walt), Brenda Sorensen (late Ivan), Art (late Sharon), Rick (Lori), Kevin (Marion) and Bobby (Joan); her cousin Noreen Giannini; and her daughters, Trish Sergi and Josi Paladino. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton, ON L9A1T2).
In honor of Peggy's memory, donations to the St. Joseph's Dialysis Program (King Campus) would be deeply appreciated.
