She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Sedgwick. She is survived by: her children, Brad (Natalie) and Marlene (Mark); her grandson Connor; and her siblings, Eleanor, Bonny, Chris and Dan.

She was known for her generosity, including donating clothing for infants in the pre-mature ward at St. Joseph's Hospital.
