Mara Masic Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mara Masic (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mara departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mara may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mara leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband Petar. She is survived by: her children, Dusanka, Jelena Masic and Jovanka (Milenko Djokic); and her grandchildren, Nikolina Dobrich (Nikolas), Aleksandar Djokic (Dara) and Zachary Djokic.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home (36 Lake Ave Dr, Stoney Creek, ON L8G3N3). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral (149 Nash Rd S, Hamilton, ON L8K4J9).
