He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalia Chiodo and Giuseppe Picone Chiodo; his wife Alda; his siblings, Calogero Picone (Maria), Gaetano Picone (Concetta) and Concettina Scia Scia (late Calogero); and his sibling-in-law Nunzia Gallo (late Calogero).
He is survived by: his children, Angela, Joe (Sherry), Tom (Carm) and Maryann (Carlo); his grandchildren, Michael (Allison), Sabrina (Jordan), Anthony (Catherine), Marisa, Luc, Isabelle, Nathan, Gianluca and Stefano; and his siblings-in-law, Angela Scozzari (Charlie), Salvatore Cosentino (Franca) and Gaetano Cosentino (late Teresa). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
