It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lemmie Wong (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Lemmie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doris Chor Yip Wong; his children, Tammy Wong and Andrew Wong (Lisa Chan Wong); and his grandchildren, Darren and Megan.

“My wife and I moved from Edmonton, Alberta to Hamilton in May 2024. We didn't know anyone here but found out there were some people doing taichi 3 mornings a week. We joined this group and followed them to coffee at Tim's after taichi. There we met Uncle Lemmie. He didn't talk much, but he always greeted us, the newcomers, with his warm smile and handshake. We saw him few weeks ago at Tim's , and we're deeply saddened. Rest in peace, Uncle Lemmie. You'll always be in our memories. Vincent Wu”
