It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Justina (Correia) DeMedeiros (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Almiro; her sons, Jacinto Manny and Gary (Lina); her grandchildren, Christian and Maya; her parents, Manuel Correia and Idalina Correia; her siblings, Nilda (Dorvalino) and Jose (Deolinda); and her siblings-in-law, Agostinho (Maria) and Conceicao (late Artur).
She is survived by: her siblings, Antonio (late Leonia), Gilberto (Leonilda), Helena and Manuel (Juvenalia); and her siblings-in-law, Julieta (late Jacinto) and Gregorio (Georgina). She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (23 Sheaffe St, Hamilton, ON L8R2N7).
