She was predeceased by: her former husband Kenneth Martin; and her stepson Charles (Nadine). She is survived by: her husband Charles Freeman; her children, Paul (Sonja) and Lorraine (Frank); her stepchildren, Roselyn (Warner) and Clare (Clare); her grandchildren, Jacqueline, Jeffrey, Tara (Matt), Craig, Alex (Caitlyn), Carissa, Graham (Alysha), Courtney (Peter), Cameron and Sydney (William); and her great grandchildren, Hadean, Madelyn, Oliver, Hudson, Carter and Leo.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA, Canadian Cancer Society, or Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice would honor her memory and her love for animals and compassionate care.
