Jose left this world on January 8, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his son Joe Custodio; his parents, Agostinho Custodio and Noemia Custodio; and his sister Adriana Anacleto (Fernando). He is survived by: his wife Maria; his daughter Lucy Rebelo (Ben); his grandson Austin Rebelo; and his siblings, Carolina Tavares (Dennis) and Cremilde Anacleto (late Ildeberto). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Parish (23 Sheaffe St, Hamilton, ON L8R2N7). An entombment was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).
