He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Johnston; his daughters, Alexis and June; his son-in-law Garry; and his grandson Craig.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jacqueline (Don), Beverley (David), Judi, Kerry-Anne (Barry) and Michelle (Randall). He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and their partners, 17 Great-Grandchildren and 5 Step-Great-Grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Blessed Lord Parish (400 Pottruff Rd N, Hamilton, ON L8H2M4). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Warplane Heritage Museum (9280 Airport Rd, Mount Hope, ON L0R1W0).
