We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2025, at the age of 86, John Albert Smith (Hamilton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Diane; his parents, Ellwood Smith and Dorothy Smith of Hamilton; and his siblings, Gerry, Jean and Connie (Rayner).

He is survived by: his sons, Steven (Dawna), Michael (Jennifer) and Russell (Patricia); his grandchildren, Kyle (Ashley), Kevin (Heather), Kayla (Alex), Ryan, Rachel (Sam), Austin, Eric, Matthew (Kayla), Emily (Luigi), Meghan (Brandon) and Sophia; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Daniel, Kylie, Lily, Junie, Scarlett, Tucker, Benson, Joey, Parker, Bo and Christian; and his sister Linda Gardner.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
