He was predeceased by: his siblings, Deolinda Medeiros (late Albert), Balbina Medeiros (late Antonio), Helena Medeiros (late Joao) and Manuel Costa (Maria). He is survived by: his wife Maria; his sons, Nelson (Sandy) and John (Patricia); and his siblings, Fatima Tavares (late Tiberio), Edelta Costa (Jorge), Hirondina Avelar (late Manuel) and Maria Pavao (Manuel). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (23 Sheaffe St, Hamilton, ON L8R2N7). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (580 Old York Rd, Burlington, ON L7P4Y6).
