It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janey Marie (Whitman) Obi (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 45, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her child Everton; her grandchild Alakai; and her father James Whitman. She is survived by: her spouse Isreal; her children, Travis, Devon, Donavon, Olivia and Serenity; her grandchildren, Princeton, London, Neveah and Everton Jr. "Zaydon"; her mother Faye Whitman; her siblings, Natalie (Christian Borden), Kimberly (Hayden Gittens), Wayne, Steven and Jaime (Lenroy Peters); her close friend Sherry; and her pet Nala.
