James Emery Takacs Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 26, 2025, at the age of 66, James Emery Takacs (Hamilton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As James Emery departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James Emery. Though James Emery may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his father Emery; his children, Matthew (Alexa) and Victoria (Andrew); and his brother Les Takacs. He is survived by: his mother Agnes; his grandchildren, Shaylin, Avery and Logan; and his niece Samantha. He is also survived by his cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
