As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Ivan may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marija. He is survived by: his sons, Zeljko (Tracy) and Johnny; his grandsons, Noah (Nina) and Ethan; and his nephew Nik Perlic (Irene).
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7). A prayer was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church (1883 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V9).
