He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Anne; his stepfather Tony Busija; his brother John Holjevac; his stepbrother Joso Busija (Kata); and his sister-in-law Mary Frlan (Nikola).
He is survived by: his wife Katherine; his children, John (Martine) and Janice Viani (Tony); his grandsons, Alex (Kelsey), Mark (Kenedy) and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Luca and Elio; and his sister-in-law Cecile Perosevic (late Nikola). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
