Frances Emond Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Emond (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 17, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Trevor Dodd and Elenna Dodd; and her brother Gord. She is survived by: her husband Michael Emond; her children, Christopher Emond (Pam), Jeanette Brown (Terry), Michelle Covey (David), Nicole Emond and David Emond; her grandchildren, Sarah, Victoria, Hannah, Laura, Emma, Vanessa, Elizabeth, Jeffrey, Jordan, Zachary, Alex, Marcel, Eric and Yvonne; her great grandchildren, Kiara, Kendrick, Violet and Max; and her siblings, John (Diane), Bruce (Lisa), Brian (Pearl), Marilyn (late Doug) and Joan (Tom). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton, ON L9A1T2). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cresmount Chapel (322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton, ON L9A1T2).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by her family.
