She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Mario; her children, Marcello (Silvia), Lisa and Tina Alagappan (Raj); her grandchildren, Marcus, John-Paul, Daina, Sabrina and Nicholas; her brother Domenic Chiaravalle (Rita); her sister-in-law Rita Iesulauro (Rivoli); her brother Antonio; and her parents, Eugenio Chiaravalle and Nipa Chiaravalle. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
