With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Folkert Boonstra (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Steven (Dana) and Julie; his stepdaughter Tracey (Gordy); his grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Jordan, Alex, Sydney, Kelli, Keith and Levi; and his great grandchildren, Beau and Charlie.

Unfortunately late in life Fred suffered with Parkinson's disease.
