We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2024, Filomena Mota (Hamilton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Filomena's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Filomena's journey be filled with peace and serenity, as her find rest in the embrace of eternity.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Mota; her children, John Mota and Andrea Mota (Frank Ferraro); and her grandchildren, Diamantina, Luca and Adrian. She was also cherished by her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Home (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A prayer was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Marys Church (170 Park St N, Hamilton, ON L8R2N3). An entombment was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at the Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
