As Dorothy Barbara departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Dorothy Barbara. Though Dorothy Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Joseph Prendergast; and her parents, Joseph Turner and Dorothy Turner. She is survived by: her sister Norma McCrindell (late James); and her friends, Joe Truscott, Tom, Teresa Mueller and Franco Mastroianni.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the L. G. Wallace Funeral Home (151 Ottawa St N, Hamilton, ON L8H3Z2). A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Woodland Cemetery (700 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J3).
