He is survived by: his wife Margaret Howatt; his children, Maggie, Anne, John, Michael, Leslie and Martha; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Allison, Jordan, Rachel, Courtney, Neil, Paul, Sarah, John, Joseph, Samuel and Colleen.
