He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Turner; his parents, John Turner and Annie Turner; and his siblings, Vera Purser, Doris Torrence and Raymond "Ray" Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Cameron and Daniel "Dan" Turner; his grandchildren, Jaime Turner and Jesse Cameron; and his close friend Margret Westhouse. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the P. X. Dermody Funeral Homes (796 Upper Gage Ave, Hamilton, ON L8V4K4). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
From adult education courses at Sherwood Secondary School, travelling the world, teaching art and woodcarving at Sackville, scuba diving, bird watching, walking the rail trail, volunteering and donating to numerous charities, and so much more.
