Cornelis Wursten Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cornelis Wursten (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Elizabeth, Peter Vanderweerd of Otterville, Darryl, Jennifer of Brantford, Kevin, Eryn of Pelham, Vanessa, Nathan Kranendonk of Jerseyville, Caitlin, Tjeerd Klaver of Brantford, Brent and Laura (Addison) of Tillsonburg; his siblings, Tracey (Raphael Gritter), Mary-Ann (Dylan Van Den Assem), Bradley (Marije) and William (Sarah); and his mother-in-law Shawna of Rover. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maranatha Free Reformed Church (1114 Old Mohawk Rd, Ancaster, ON L9G3K9). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
