Concettina Fazio Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Concettina Fazio (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio; her daughter Elisa; her grandson Andy; her parents, Antonio Felice Materno and Elisabetta Caccia; her parents-in-law, Rocco and Palma Raffaela Fazio; her stepparent Michele Martelli; and her brothers, Domenico Materno (Gaetana) and Gino Materno.
She is survived by: her children, Palma, Lina Caruso (Vincenzo), Pino (Silvana), Vince (Ann Marie) and Maurice (Linda); her grandchildren, Agnese (Yohan), Cristina (Guillaume), Vanessa, Michael (Alex), Danielle (Mike), Tonille, Elisa (Massimo), Maurizio (Silvia) and Marco; her great grandchildren, Allegra, Marcello, Aria, Vincent, Montana, Mia, Davina, Michael, Antonio, Maria-Vittoria, Rosalind and Matilde; her sister Teresa DeCaria (late Francesco); and her friend France. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (165 Prospect St N, Hamilton, ON L8L 6X7).
