She was predeceased by: her sister Madge Adolph of Burnaby, BC.; her husband Enzo Baldassi; and her son-in-law Harry Van Stiphout. She is survived by: her children, Bill (Valerie), Karen (late Harry) and Joanne (Michael); her grandchildren, Paul, Julie, Petra, Philip and Dominic; her great grandchildren, Rhys, Elliott and Daniel; and her brother Robert Mattiussi of Powell River, BC.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V7). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery (681 Mud St E, Hamilton, ON L8J3B8). True to her feisty self, Mom endured and survived a subsequent stroke, a hip replacement and COVID, in the 6 years she resided at Grace Villa; a true testament to her strength.
