She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Simpson; her former husband George Gardiner; her parents, Edna McKenzie and George McKenzie; and her brother Mac McKenzie.
She is survived by: her children, Rob Gardiner (Ruth), Sandra Robson-Black (Terence), Tom Gardiner (Thao) and Valerie Bonotti (Larry Lovelady). She is also survived by her 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Ave E, Hamilton, ON L9A1T2). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
