Arend Witten Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arend Witten of Hamilton, Ontario, who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Egbert (Tjitske Witten) and Overijssel. He is survived by: his wife Ebelien; his children, Theodore Witten (Carmen), Aron Witten (Maria) and Stephanie Sikma (Doug); his siblings, John (Joyce Witten), Anne Witten, Alice (Ed Helder) and Pete (Marg Witten); and his siblings-in-law, Stef, Dien Woudenberg, Aly, Les VanEgmond, Gerard and Diane Woudenberg. He is also survived by aunts and uncle; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cornerstone Canadian Reformed Church (353 Stone Church Rd E, Hamilton, ON L9B1B1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to Guido de Bres High School would be appreciated by the family.
