He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Francelina (Raposo); his children, Tony Tavares (Claudia), Peter Tavares, Patricia Teixeira (Decio) and John Tavares (Kelsey); and his grandchildren, Emily, Matthew, Nicholas, Tiahna, Mikayla, Noah, Bianca, Nina and Alex.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 1:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens (1895 Main St W, Hamilton, ON L8S1J2).
