He was predeceased by: his son Sam Pirrera; his parents, Salvatore Pirrera and Alfonsa Pirrera; his in-laws, Giuseppe and Giuseppina Diliberto; and his siblings, Angelo Pirrera (Sarina), Salvatore Pirrera (late Rosa), Nicolo Pirrera (late Maria), Giovanna Bono and Charles Pirrera (late Connie) of Hamilton.
He is survived by: his wife Lina Pirrera; his daughter Josephine Habza (Joshua); his grandchildren, Matthew Pirrera (Kevin), Jaida and Jasmin Habza; his siblings, Giuseppina Caltagirone (Giovanni) and Giovanni Pirrera (Caterina); and his pet Lexie.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel (43 Barton St E, Hamilton, ON L8L2V7). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Patrick's (440 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8N1C6). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (600 Spring Gardens Rd, Burlington, ON L7T1J1).
