Ana Rataic Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ana Rataic (Hamilton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Josip Rataic; and her siblings, Mara Jazvac and Josip Pahanic. She is survived by: her children, Vlado, Barbara Jurcic and Nada Zoric (Josip); her grandchildren, Michael Jurcic, Adrian Jurcic (Silvia), Susie Biondic (John) and Joanna Morris (Cody); her great grandchildren, Joshua, Gabrielle, Olivia, Eva, Juliana, Angelina and Mayven; and her nieces, Ana Jazvac and Kathy Marchesan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7). A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Croatian Church (1883 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V9).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Cross Croatian Church and Caritas would be appreciated.
