Ana Rahija Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ana Rahija (Hamilton, Ontario), who passed away on January 10, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ana Rahija to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nikola; her daughters, Mary Harper (Jim), Kathy Inman (Leroy) and Nancy Rahija (Daniel); her grandchildren, Nicole (Borja), Danielle (Marcus), Thomas, Tyler and Georgia; and her great grandchild Isaac.
She is survived by: her sister Bara Baic; and her in-laws, Barbara Rozich, Marica, Darko Petronic, Nada Rozich, Kathy Glober and Saul Glober.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home (1774 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K 1V7). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Croatian Church (1883 King St E, Hamilton, ON L8K1V9).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you donate to a local food bank or a charity of your choice in Ana's name.
