She was predeceased by: her parents, José Antonio Menjívar and Dolores Gertrudis Valle of Menjívar. She is survived by: her husband Víctor; her children, Nilton and Thania Georgina Jovel; and her siblings, Rafael, Alfredo, Antonia, Elsa, Ana, Marily, Marbely, Ramiro, Noel, Rosybel and Balmore.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Hamilton - Bay Gardens Funeral Home (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2).
