She was predeceased by: her husband William; her parents, Norman Shivas and Phebe Shivas (Haliburton); and her siblings, Dawn and Barry.

She is survived by: her children, Dale (Stephen) of Belleville, Deanna of Newmarket and Dean (Catharine) of Whitby; and her granddaughters, Emalee, Aubre and Lillian.
