She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Nekechuk and Eleanor Higgins; and her siblings, Agnes and John. She is survived by: her sisters, Catherine (late Kay), Josephine (late Josie), Eleanor (late Helen), Margaret and Joan; her children, Barry, Donald (Lyn), Jean, Nancy and Virginia (Joe); her grandchildren, Lisa, Wilda, Samantha, Marie, Kelly, Ian and Natalie; and her great grandchildren, Kiara, Jade, Emma, Matthew, Ryan and Lincoln.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Haliburton Highlands Health Services, Heart and Stroke or the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
