He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alan Smith and Daphne Smith of Toronto; his wife Lorraine; his granddaughter Gillian; his pet Goldie; his children, Peter, Carol, Suzanne, Janet and Paul; and his sister Ann Daw. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren.
