He was predeceased by: his wife Bonnie Smith; his stepson Trent St. Pierre; his parents, Hughy Schlievert and Loretta Schlievert; and his brother Ronald Schlievert.
He is survived by: his children, Constance Schlievert of Renfrew, Karen Grimm (Blaine) of Medicine Hat, Alberta and Dale; his stepchildren, Trevor St. Pierre of Renfrew and Tracy Larocque (Mike) of Ottawa; his siblings, Valerie Peever (Delbert) and Donald Schlievert (Kathleen); and his nieces and nephews, Tracy Schlievert, Christine Waite (Jamie), Barbara Peever (Grant Gauthier), Angela Schlievert and Amanda Schlievert.
