Maurice Ernest Mercier Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2023, Maurice Ernest Mercier (Haileybury, Ontario), born in Cobalt, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Maurice shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Maurice farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his wife Emilie Mercier; his children, Darcy Mercier (Carley Lay) and Rosanne Cummings (Kenneth Cummings); his granddaughter Faith Cummings; and his daughter Liane Mercier (Jeff Burke).

Donations can be sent in his honour to the Temiskaming Hospital, North Bay Hospital or Sudbury Hospital.
