He was predeceased by: his parents, Abner Leis and Viola Leis; and his brother Larry. He is survived by: his wife Diane Trepanier; his children, Jason Leis (Stephanie Ethier) and Andrea Leis (Mitch Lafreniere); his stepson Paul Trepanier; his grandchildren, Kayla Lafreniere, Selina Leis and Abner Leis; his stepgrandsons, Jesse and Mason; and his siblings, Denese Gingerich (Murray) and John Woelfle.
